I'm going to join you soon...

Getting a full black interior

all I need is the headliner and some black leather seats and I'm straight...

Now who wants a tan interior?

2 questions...
1. Where did you guys find a tool to get the air bag bolts behind the glove box off???? I had the most trouble with that when I swapped dashboards in my old car..

2. Did you buy an air bag with a black top or are you going to dye your tan one black? If yes, what paint are you going to be using?

thanks
and good luck

there is 2 people that i know of on the org who have converted their interior completely thus far..
SWEETSOUND2001 and Black95Se... good to know i'm not the only crazy one to still want to do this, although Anton/sweetsound does not reccomend it after having done it.. lol.

I wish I had a garage though because it's too cold up here to do this outside for the next 4 months

Thanks fellas

That ISP host problem will always be there.. the pics are of great quality and the size is too large.. lets live with it..

I sure will paint the airbag... no money to swap with a black. I think I am gona paint it silver to match the dash kit...

ben... none wanted to take the pics so looks like all i am doing is taking pics and no work! I wont even comment on that

The leather seat in the pics is NOT the one going in the car.. thats one extra i found at the yard and brought it home.. the new ones are still in the plastic wrap so dont worry.. I do have loads of leather cleaner and conditioner so that will help too i guess ;-)

That's a cool project, black interiors look so much better imo. I just can't justify changing it, for now though .. Don't suppose any one of you interior conversion fellas are looking to get rid of the front passenger side door panel?

Well, PRPMax and myself are still here helping Max4Speed with the interior swap. It is freakin cold as heck outside and Max4Speed won't let us leave until we finish and he can drive the car in the morning. Someone help us please........ . But if it wasn't for all of his sound ****, we would have been done when it was 65 degrees, sunny, and very WARM. As we speak, he is still out there wiring his car because he "has to have the sound working for the drive to work". Anyways, PRPMax and myself are off to freeze our ***** off once again (which we had just thawed out). Stay tuned for more updates.....

IT'S DONE

Black on black I30 interior.. sweet! Pics will be posted up soon. We ran across a few minor mishaps not our fault..Mainly due to the person he bought the stuff from poorly packaged a ripped up driver and passanger seatbelt. Glad its over. Now time to install some boost.

I just wanted to be 100% original and wanted to avoid this painting stuff. But then again what ever floats your boat.

but you still painted the airbag cover

which paint did you use?

I will be tackling this project, probably all by myself soon.. I do need seats and the headliner though...
I'm going to be asking you a lot of questions soon.. lol

btw, it took you guys a lot faster than I figured.
I estimate my car being out of order for a week or so.
