Usual stuff to check:

Try good quality bulbs (PIAAs are known to have a short lifespan),
Don't touch the bulbs with bare skin when installing them,
If you have a powerful audio system, get a capacitor or high-drain battery.
Get a voltmeter to test the electrical system?

Stop using 80 or 100 Watt H3's, there to hot for the small fog light assembly. There failing because of excessive heat. Stay with 55 watt H3's and you'll be fine.

but the 55watt bulbs are the nasty yellow ones, i don't want that. Should I just get rid of them and replace them with PIAA fog lights?

Strange, my 55W H3's are nice and white...

PIAA makes a nice selection of H3's. There expensive, but they do last a long time and throw nice light too. Read the box, make sure you get 55W bulbs. PIAA advertises there 55W=80W, thats ok, it just means that there 55W bulb produces light equivelent to 80W bulbs.

Thansk amixam98, but i'm looking at www.autodynamic.com and they have the Super Plasma Series, and the Xtreme White Series. Anyone know the difference? well one of them has an output of a 110w, and the other 80W. so i'm guessing ones brighter than the other.

The Super Plasma bulbs have a purplish color on the road. The Extreme White is nice and clean.

I have a set of Super Plasmas I'll sell to you at a VERY reasonable price. PM or Email me if your interested.
