Should I part out the car, or sell modded?

Which method will yield a bigger profit to me? You can see my mods in my sig...oh wait, no you can't. Ok, mods are CC, FSTB, Stillen intake, WSP y pipe, custom b pipe, Stillen muffler, 2 10" Alpine subs, RF 160W amp, and 2001 16" GLE rims with Toyo Proxies TPT tires. I would like to get about $8200 for my car with all the mods, but I dont think thats gonna happen, so I'm thinking that if I part everything out, I might be able to get more money that way. BTW, I have a black 95 GLE w/ 88K miles. What do you guys think? I don't have a real problem taking all my parts out, as long as I get my damn money...I gotta get every penny out of this car that I can.

And if I do try to sell it completely stock, since the KBB value is $7,555, and I have some new parts in the car (alternator, CV boots, new Bose speakers and amps, front engine mount, brakes, and if I put my stock GLE rims on, they will have new tires) is $7,300 a reasonable price to ask for the stock car?

EDIT: I also have a tint, red/clear tails, and carbon fiber door sills.

If making the most money is your concern, by far parting out and then selling will yield the greatest returns. The drawback however will be that you actually have to do some work in order to sell it off.

personally i think a modded car would be harder to sell cause the buyer is probably going to think that the car was abused which it probably wasn't but you can't prove it to them. Just my opinion, good luck

Check the For Sale forum, he posted all of his parts there. And from what I saw, he is NOT selling the y-pipe. But check for yourself I could be wrong (that was over an hour ago).

word up. just like he said, unless u find a maxima enthusiast to buy ur car, it would probably be better if u took out the mods.
