about s2k and 2k2 max

I was wondering how 2k2 auto maxima would do against a s2k?
I ran into a s2k about 10 mins ago on the way home...and i was surprised about the results. from 40-70mph I stay ahead the whole time, and he couldn't pull closer to me. (i didn't pull away from him too)
from what i heard, S2k is suppose to be really fast but how come he couldn't pull away from me? btw, I know he was trying

sidenote: I ran my 2 other friends....one of them has 91 firebird (Not sure) and one of them has RSX-s
we did 3 runs
1. me & firebird ---> firebird won
2. me & rsx-s ---> rsx-s won
3. me & rsx-s ---> me won....my friend said he misshifted

I know Jeffrey and all the other riceboys are gonna hate me for sayin' this but, it's becuase they are torqueless wonders. In order to stay with you, he would have to be in his sweet spot and downshift into the lowest gear possible. You have enough TORQUE to compensate for gear sweet spots and can pull ahead. You have 90lb-ft of torque over him...from a roll that's gonna do something. You probubly got the headstart too. Drop those rice-rockets at 7000rpm from a stop and watch out! Other wise, they are slower then minivans.

If you lost to an RSX-S you should have lost to that S2000. Maybe something was wrong with it. But an S2000 would leave an RSX-S in the dust at any speed.

rsx was in the morning and s2k was at night (like that make a difference lol)
i know a lost is a lost...............i just can't f*cking launch my car. Both of my friends was able to pull ahead of me at the start and I would slowly cutting back but there wasn't enough roads to go past 65mph.
I did a 5mph roll with that same RSX-s about a yr ago and I was able to pull 3/4 of cars up to 60mph
so i don't know.........maybe i just can't drive(auto too)

Boys, boys...your forgetting that street and track are two totally different animals..it's all about the headstart. Slower cars win all the time on the road simply becuase they get that solid jump that the other car can't recover from.

My problem is that once I turn my Traction control off to race, I cant hook up worth a CRAP, and I have an auto. Yesterday I raced a Riced out Civic from a light , 3 people in my car, and just ricerboy in the civic. I gunjned and smoked them through 1st all the way, then by the time traction kicked in , I caught him passed him and destroyed him. I have 245's too..... Need some stickies for track !

BTW, how do you lose to a RSX-S ?? WTF ??

I was able to beat a friens s2k with AEM CAI with my 2k2 Auto with WAI only. We raced 3 times at the track and I won each time. I also had a run in on the street with one and had no problem staying ahead. The s2k is hard to launch and in each instance I was able to get ahead first and keep that lead. I did not gain much, but I didn't lose my lead either. It was a 1/8 mile track so the 1/4 might have produced different results. I've driven the RSX-S and while impressed with the car for what it was, I wasn't impressed with it's 4 cylinder's pickup. Honda's/Acura's torque is pitiful.

People need to realize that the S2k isnt a drag car. It was never meant to be drag raced. The car was built to drive around a race track.

thats def. true. i raced my friends 96 altima auto with my 2k2 auto and i let him get about 1.5 car lengths ahead, and then i went. it took me till 60 to fly past him. ill never give him or anyone a headstart again.
