RPM Switch

Okay, since I dont want to take apart the dash to get to the tach for input on the RPM switch I am going to get it from the coil pack.

Does it matter which plug I get it from?

Ok here is another thought, since everyone was having problems with the relay and just taking it out, how are you wiring it now? Basicly the same but instead of the RPM switch or the solenoid going to the relay then power, just directly connect it to power?

I am not using a relay. Instead I am running a 1.0 fuse from the + battery to the Harlan switch.

Harlan RPM switch

black wire = ground
red wire = + battery
- also hook up power wire from solenoid to this.
other wire from rpm switch = tach signal
Black wire from rpm switch (seperate from the 3 joined wires) ground to solenoid. That is all.
