New car or Used?

Well im planning on buying a 2k2 maxima in a few weeks, but now my mom wants to give me here crimson blaze 99 maxima and all i have to do is pay the year and half left on it. I want a stick, but i think id like a 99 se-l pretty nice since 4th gens are more appealing to me. Any suggestions? And also, i will be modding this car very soon.

I would take the 2002 just for the sake that is it new and has a long warranty (oh yeah, and it's way faster ). On the other hand, Crimson Blaze SE-Ls don't come around very often and are more attractive.

I would opt for the 2k2 its almost end of year so there should be some deals, willing that they have the car available with options. Also major factor stick vs auto?

keep the 99 for a couple of years, and wait for the 6th Gen to come out.

PS. here are some shots.

maybe get the 5th Gen after all
