I just got some 85W headlights so I figure i need a new upgraded harness. I searched, and all i get is people talking aout the harness but not where to buy one and how much they cost. Would my local nissan dealer have one? If so, what do i ask for exactly?
If i cant get one locally, where do i get one?

No your dealer will not have one. They will have the stock harness.

The upgrade harness is made by APC and can found at http://www.carparts.com or http://www.jegs.com . It will run you about $50 or so and beware. They are on backorder for awhile.

 

Alex (south west auto works) says its ok to just put the bulbs in for now and the worst that will happen is ill blow the bulbs. Im just worried about blowing my harness and having to spen like 700 bucks getting a new one. Need i be worried. Just double checking.

you should be ok for a little while...everyone's stock harness seems to react differently...i think the stock one is only 60 bucks from the dealer anyways...

 

the plastic peice that has a tendency to melt with highpower bulbs is only 10 bucks..i just replaced mine and then put in new phillips blue vision..those HID bulbs suck ***..just look good..

haha, they are fake(hence the smiley face)...it's the 17 inch katana racing concepts...they were really cheap(about 130 a peice..i definately should have gotten the real ones.they woulda looked much better)...but i'm only 17 and have no money so they shall do...

Basically find anyone that sells APC stuff and they should able to get you the harness.

There will be the wiring harness upgrade link. Click on it. There are the part numbers.

Best way is to call and find out if they have any in stock. They are a huge company. They are almost as big as Summit racing. If they can't get it, I'm pretty sure it's backordered everywhere else.
