Something in my dash is driving me crazy I think it might be the speedo(not sure). I found one way to fixe the problem somewhat, I crank the radio up all the way. Has this happened to anyone else and how much for a fix?

 

I have had the same problem for the last year on my 97 max with 31K on it. it just feels like something is loose in there--sometimes...it is really weird when the noise comes and goes...but is is a clicking noise like if somehting is loose...
I am not sure if that is the same thing that you are suffering from.

 

It does sound like a really fast clicking noise but its strange because it comes and goes.

 

yes the noises come and go but I think it is more apparent in the summer when everything is heated and expands. In the winter I haven't heard it too often(but then again, I haven't driven the car too much with all this snow).

The noises for mine sound as though they come from the speedo cluster and when I smack the dash (the plastic on top) it feels like something might be loose inside.

Are you getting the same problem?
