I'm sorry to hear that, damn. I would think it would be wayy to expensive to repair anyways, heh. Was it fully insured??

Atleast it was fully insured, I'd hate to see a max owner lose a max and not get any money back.

Actually, from what he tells me, his face never hit the airbag - that's some damn good safety in the crush points there.

D'OH!!!

That's not too bad, though. I know some people that have had their cars totalled and they still owed a few GRAND on it!

Happend on tuesday, when an idiot driver without insurance tried to make a left turn in front of me as I was entering the intersection, I barely had time to apply the brakes. I was only going 35, but so was he, 35+35= 70mph collision. I'm certainly not laughing right now, as the car is totaled and the insurance is paying it off, but with the deductable and my 5 year loan, I still owe $1100. As for my next car, it's gonna be Maxima #3... a 96se 5spd...

You could go cheaper... a 240SX. A little better fuel economy, cheaper to buy, etc. Then when you start making cash it's a quick step to SR20DET.

That's what I was planning on doing, but after thinking a while about reliability, wanting airbags, how much I love maxima's, and a long list of other items, I decided the max was the best choice...
