to have an effective A/F gauge you should buy a separate O2 sensor for it.. other wise its just a bunch of blinking lights going up and down.. not really doing much and not accurate.. you r better off buying an EGT Gauge

wth?
rear?
nooo.
the rear does nothing.
only the front two tell the ECU the amount to alter fuel/air with.
if anything, you should be installing a wide band o2 sensor to help you with your turbo timer....
redoit.

So Sprintmax, how about the rear O2 sensor? If not then where would you recommend install the separate O2 sensor.
I have an Apexi turbo timer and i hooked up the A/F sensor wire to the rear O2 sensor.

as Cheston said above a wide band O2 sensor would be great because it will give more accurate readings.. the 02 sensor of the car is connected to so much **** on the car its really ver inaccurate

So what does the rear O2 sensor is there for. If i disconnect it, my CHECK ENGINE light comes on.
Any brand you guys can recommend for the wide band O2 sensor. I'll be checking if an O2 sensor fits into the hole this weekend.

Thanks for inlightning me without blasting me for not knowing.
Next ?, how stable should the a/f guage be if it is hooked up properly? Mine bounces back and forth all the time, probably a couple times a second, until I go to wot; then it stays rich until I let up. Should it be more stable than that? Bought the car with the guage already hooked up. Just asking cause I want to make sure to take care of the car and I want everything to be done right.

So if you hook up a separate O2 sensor will the guage lights not bounce around? If it does then how much difference will it be between what I have now, if any? Also was told that running leaded race fuel will "corrupt" or ruin the O2 sensors. What would be the reason for that? Is there a way to run the race fuel safely(double negative-I know) without swapping them out for extremely expensive ones?

i have run race fuel at the track
but i wouldn't run it unless you are running Nitrous or Turbo/Supercharged
