so how much are the 2 pieces headlight,i though you told me that it will not fit the max, what do you have to do to make it fit, like cut grill or something,or you can do the write up on the 1 and 2 pieces and those thing will sell like hot cake!

yes and no, im willing to help people out and stuff. BUT, i dont think its right when people ask for writeups and demand all these answers basically lookin for the easy way. i work and think hard to do some innovative things. Thats what makes me feel that my Max is unique from others.

Dude... It won't fit the 300ZX
j/k...

Okay here are the answers for ya'll. I was at his "chop-shop" when the headlights were installed

To install them without fender works
<One piece Cefiro Headlights>
The corner light portion doesn't fit as well as fitting on the I30's of course, due to difference in Shape. But I am sure Matthel and other creative ppl can make them fit like a glove. I would say it's a much easier fix than fitting the Audi A4/A6 headlights or BMW headlights. Matthel and I had already discussed on how to fix the corner lights.. and we've got some good ideas.. I will just wait and see how he implements them.

<Two Piece Cefiro Headlights>
If you get the two piece headlight setting and use your stock Maxima corner then it would look like a closer fit. This would be a better fit then the 3rd gen fitting the BMW 3series headlights.

Conclusion:
This is an alternative for a better lighting (H-4 bulbs and housing for good beam pattern, plus built-in city lights).

Btw, there are Hi/Lo HID kits available for this application. I will check on pricing soon....

from my measurements, the i30's lights are taller than the maximas, you might have to cram them to make them fit.

how much taller??
we removed the weatherstrip from under the headlight and it fits perfect in that aspect.

when i measured it out, i think it was like 0.5-1.0 cm taller.

it was a long time ago. i was bored outside and i was comparing the height with my fingers, so i could be wrong.

On your homepage you had the two piece with HIDs. Are those HIDs stock too, came with the Cefiro assembly? or did you get an aftermarket kit and add it on?

hehe anyways, we took the trim off under it so it it fits better and now the hood closes without having to slam it. also, the parts that ALex was cutting he did not do enough of, so i cut a bit more and it fits better on the ends now too.

Are you talking about this one?
Hmm... Yes, they are OEM Nissan Wagon Dual Round Headlights that came w/HID's.

But,
1. Would you pay close to $2000 for this headight (including HID)?
2. These headlights in the photo above is RHD (Japan/HK/UK)... right handed drive. Sorry, they don't make this for LHD (US/Canada)
3. I have only one set and is reserved for someone in So Cal.
I agree these would look HOT on the Maxima

One more thing....after installing these

About the grille...
After you install these Cefiro Headlights (either one piece or the two piece) onto Maxima's, you no longer have the clip on the headlights to install the Stock grille.

You MUST make your own custom bracket to fit the OEM or aftermarket grille. I would think aftermarket grille would be easier to work with..but not sure how they'd look?

If I was to go with just the headlight of the two piece set, I can still fit an aftermarket Hi/Lo Hid's kit or just a HID kit and lose the High beam right? Where can I get the headlight assembly? Is the a price difference between the one and the two piece?

Yes, you can fit after market H-4 HID kit (low beam only and lose high beam), or H-4 Hi/Lo HID kits.
You can get either One-piece Cefiro headlight assembly or Two-piece from me.

Yes, there's a price difference btwn the two.

Email me for more details
sycefiro@yahoo.com

Note: You are responsible for modify your Maxima to make the headlights fit (95-99 Maxima). The Cefiro Headlights are meant to be direct replacement/upgrade to US version of Infiniti I30 96-99. And these will be sold "as it-is" condition. No returns if they don't fit on your Nissan Maxima

I'll keep that in mind, I need to wait for some $$$ to come in. Does the two piece require as much modifications?? I'm undecided on which one I should get but once I decide I'll let you know. Thanx

It's not the assembly, it's the beam pattern. The beam will curve upward on the left side so you could see signs on the side of the road in Japan or England, but in America the higher beam on the left just glares in other drivers' eyes. This isn't an aiming thing, it's how the reflectors are designed.

yup...they are all right about the beam pattern. my lights shine on the other side of the road, but I managed to aim them down just a tad with a little adjustment on my headlight. the only problem i ran into, was the weather stripping did not fit right when i put the headlights on my car. i might take them off and see how they fit and how the beam aims after taking them off...what do you guys think?

Those one piece headlights looks sharp on the MAX too !!! ^^ Just not as sharp as it is on my I30T.

I got Hella H4 Hi/Low Kit on my Cefiro headlight and it works great. No worry about that guys !!

Hey man, it went on the back burner, along with everything else for my car. But if you have time next year, I might want to try it again.

Remember back in the day when discussed it and I thought that the bumper would have to be shaved down a bit, well, Turbo95Max told me that he didn't have to. The bolts match up right? As for the grille, I have some fiberglass laminate sheets lying around, maybe I can figure that out later.

Very nice install. ...anything to make a 4th gen look better...

I think it's a major cosmetic improvement for the front. Good job.
