The HID housing off the wagon is TIGHT!! Hey, did anyone ever notice that on sycefiro's page on the last page, he has a black and white pic. Notice where the exhaust is, its on the driver side? Can you enlighten me.

Where did you pick up fiberglass laminated sheets? Are they easy to work with? ie. Will they bend if you use a heat gun on them?

Sorry boss, I obtained them from work. We had a few scraps left from an erosion coating test and I scrounged some pieces originally intended for me to make some chassis parts for my RC car.

Easy to work with, well it depends. You can epoxy the parts together, but heat is definitely not good for the epoxyy that is used to manufacture the sheets. The stuff is a laminate...fiberglass cloth impregnated and pressed into sheets. They might not bend with high temp, but might actually start to burn.

What do you need it for? I know of places where you could obtain it in large quantities. They also have carbon fiber laminate if you desire that.

they look good and I thought about them before I started my 2k2 audi S4 project... but I really wanted projection so I gave up on them.
here is a pic of my lights at their current stage... I should be done by spring with the grill etc...

EDIT: don't email about how to do this unless you are ready to drop $2000 on the project...

Thanks for the info. I thought they might save me some work for my audio install. If they would bend when after heated, I could contour them to odd shapes inside my trunk.

Updates for Matthal's car with photos above.

Reviews:

1. No outter fender modification to fit.
2. Need to make special bracket to fit the stock grilles
3. Need to trim some metal parts inside the fender/besides the headlight mounting brackets
4. Need to remove the weather strip.
5. Looks like a better fit than BMW 3-seris headlights on the 3rd gen.. probably because this products made for the same family

Results:
1. Cefiro One piece headlights fitting on the 4th Gen Maxima
2. H-4 output (better beam pattern)
3. Built-in City Lights
4. Pretty nice fit with some minor mods

I saw like $200-$240,...is that about right?

Yes, the bulb can be changed to any color. Those are 194 Wedge bulbs. Some ppl put in Yellow or blue, I have superwhite in mine.

Those are 2k2? Igot some 2k2 A4 ones and they look a little different.
No pix yet but coming to an UncleMax near you.

wow 200 a set is good. i assume they are aftermarket rite? my left side is aftermarket and right side is Nissan OEM. ive noticed the Nissan OEM has a nice beam pattern while the aftermarket is all over the place. i think i want to get a right side Nissan OEM.
