How hot do brake calipers get?

I am going to repaint my calipers but the color I want only comes in 500 deg. Would that hold up to the heat well?

I think there is one that goes up to 1000 degrees. I would actually get that one.

500 is plenty. If your calipers ever got that hot, you'd be boiling your brake fluid!
