Parts for Maxima available in Europe?
a friend of mine is going to Europe in the summer, namely Portugal....and he asked if I wanted to go with em....seeing as i absoultely HATE planes, i denyed....but then he started sweet talking, saying we could see some sweet ride and stuff...so i started thinking, is there any parts available in Europe of their version of the maxima or whatever that would be interchangeable? VI????
i doubt it, but maybe.....anyone know of anything cool from European nissans?

I already asked; no one was sure. I can go to Germany and get an MEVI if that is the case.

lol, just a guess, but I think she was saying it sarcastically, that if that were the case, she could just go to Germany (which she already went), and pick up a MEVI...but seeing as you cant, then you cant

I will be going to Germany again. I am sure I could find a used one off a crashed car, but I don't know if they are on the cars in Germany.

Sorry about that link! http://www.nissannews.com/multimedia...x/maximaqx.jpg
I was stationed in England for 4 years up until 2 years ago. While I was there I had an '87 Maxima SE and the only part I bought for the car that wasn't sourced from the states was a windshield. The closest thing to the Maxima was the Bluebird which shared the basic chassis parts (hence the availability of windshields) but used 4 cylinder engines and substantially wimpyer suspension parts. They had a 4 cylinder turbo version but the car was too large for the engine and was non-existant in the performance arena. I don't see Europe as a large source for performance parts for us. Of course, my experience was with 2nd gen.
