Maybe you got a point there. However, with Maximas can you imagine them not lowered and be in a show? Yikes!

Re: I think they're both nice...

You can have both form and function.

My car has 19"s, custom interior, huge stereo, custom paint, etc.

But it's also SC'd, nitroused, and has just about every other performance part. That's why I kept my coilovers instead of swapping to air.

They aren't really my thing. I go more for form over function, so I'd just have a suspension more for handling than a drop, for example. No bodykits, and I'd probably go with some lightweight 16s.

Still I think both Maximas are very tastefully done.

I think they are pretty keen for show cars. Not really my cup of tea but they are done really well. I'm not sure about the function of the car but thats not the point when you are into show class in most cases. To me it is more impressive to see a functional and nice looking car. In my opinion a car enthusiast should have a car that performs as well as it looks but not everyone thinks as I do so who am I to judge? As long as I didn't pay for it I could care less actually.

Opinions were asked for, so don't knock them when given.

And if I'm not mistaken, there is no lowering requirement to enter your car in a show. And also the concept of a good show car is relative. Else, we wouldn't need judges and nobody would vote, because we could just let Cumalot tell us the winner every time.

What's your definition of ghetto?

I always considered ghetto to be work that's badly done. And the workmanship on both cars is excellent.

I'm under the impression that both cars aren't supercharged. How ricey are they? Not much, they're both done tastefully and nice looking cars.

My defination of Rice is putting looks over performance, in an effort to look faster.

These guys are putting looks over performance, in an effort to look BETTER.

It might make them look ****ty to some people, but it certinaly doesn't make them ricey.

Well i think the first is dropped way too much and thats rice. I mean the rims are partly covered which way to far a drop. The second not as bad. I wouldn't want it dropped that much for practical reasons but at least the rims aren't covered.

Everyone has to consider that it is AirBag Suspensions, which allow the car to get equal lengths down as it would up. For example, he can easily raise the car beyond stock height by the flick of a switch..

Time to lock. Do we have to worry about how low our car is now before it's called rice?

IMHO the drastic drop doesn't look clean. I would keep the fender to wheel gap even all the way around.

I am more partcial to cars like Max4speed's 4th gen for show quality. But most max's look great with just a good set of wheels, shaved emblems, clear corners, and red/clears.
