Loud Exhaust Help

has any one tried one of these inserts to quiet down their exhaust? It looks like it might help allot if you have just a straight through pipe.

Car Chemistry Insert

Summit sells them for 3" exhaust in 3 disc form for $54.99 and I can keep my nice shiney straight through Magnaflow muffler.

Quiet down exhaust

I used a Dynomax thrush Cherry bomb glasspack muffler to quiet down my exhaust and it worked great. I felt no loss in performance at all. If anyone wants I have an extra one laying around.

I have one...

Unfortunately I bought a 3" 3 disc one and had the muffler shop adapt it onto my 2.5" pipe... It helps but not as much as I hoped it would. I would probably get the 2.5" CC insert if I had to do it again.

Mardi,

I stuck a 20" glasspack resonator in my b-pipe and it REALLY quieted things down, and deepened the tone. I got it done for $75 too. My exhaust sounds amazing below 2200rpm, someday I will get a soundclip for everyone here. I hope the Supercharger doesn't ruin the grumble and dirty tone of my system.
