I want to get new wheels and tires to race on, I don't have the $$ to buy nice looking wheels and i was thinking about just plain steel wheels. Any suggestions on where I could get a set and how much $$? Also would 15 or 16 be better, I would put low profile tires on both, speedo isn't an issue when I race.

 

It depends on what type of racing you plan to do.. Drag? AutoX? Street?

Your best bet is to find some used 16x7" wheels with some 225/55/16 sticky tires.
