anyone see the JWT turbo max in>>>>>>>
HIC (Hot Import Cars)??? some new mag I just saw this month on the newstand.. amazingly not put out by petersons or the folks that bring you all the other damn car mags.. hehe..
anyone.. looked like a pretty ghetto mag.. the pics were grainy (though some were ok...) they did have a "install" section.. I think they were doing brakes or something.. I just glanced through.. the writing seemed VERY VERY minimal.. they had this section on "TOP SECRET tuner cars".. had a souped passat and some others.. and this Eibach sponsored JWT turbo'd/tuned 2K max... not too much detail the writeup on the car was about a paragraph long and the pics were grainy... nothing that showed any REAL detail on how it was setup.. HP was supposed to be 300+... I dunno... hmmm now who do I know at Eibach ... hmmmm

now not THAT bad :)
Actually the stock it was printed on was pretty nice.. a heavy duty back/cover (much like something not quite dupont registry quality.. but heavier than max speed (USA) or SCC... the text/writing was lame.. really short stuff.. no "flair" at all.. just basic info.. nothing really special.. and waaaaayyyyy short.. guess they just aren't that creative of writers
... I'm fairly sure they'll fall on their collective asses.... in that sort of buis you either have to come out big with no holds barred.. or just stay home... much like Maxim did when it first premiered.. it was slick from the start.. not cheezy and cheap .... oh well.. enough of my personal views.. haha the quality of the majority of the photos made me sick though.... looked like some were taken with a cheapie point-and-shoot!

i saw it in person
it was at the LA auto show. it had sparco seats i think, oz f1 cup rims, stillen aero kit, eibach (no reals??) the top portion of the car was gray luster, the bottom painted silver, stickers everywhere, i think the wing was made by A&M or something. it was carbon fiber. looked sweet imo.. touring wing. i got some grainy pix sitting at home tho. not worth scanning unless someone just has to see it. i forgot what else was in there. but the car looked sporty yet still held it's classy look..imo tho.. i looooooooove the wing. it was not too big somewhat small but looked really usefull.. sorry for the rambling.
HIC article
Man, I bought that magazine with high hopes of a full-blown story about the Eibach Maxima...what a disappointment. They didn't even have pics of the interior! I gotta say, I love the 18x8 OZ Racing F1 Cup wheels though (they're what I'm planning to get).
did anyone see
the carbon fiber flaps under the stillen lip?? i think i broke it kinda.. hahah i was just checkin' if it was sturdy.. j/pp.. it was chipped to begin with... held on by rivets.
That's funny, I have a couple of the real Max Power mag. They are huge and tend to have necked ladies in it.
I buy mine at Barnes and Nobles. They are great mags. These are the thick and rather large (lxh) wise too.
