small fuel pump problem, need help

I'm in the middle of changing out my 300tt fuel pump for a walbro. The 300tt pump seems to be on its way out. The problem is that they hardly resemble each other. The walbro is small with a plug for a harness on the top (i think) and the 300 pump is huge in comparison with the two wire attatchments(msp?) on either side of the pump. How do i figure out which wire goes where on the new pump? And should my local auto parts store have a plug i could use for hooking in the wires on the new pump?
P.S. Is the TT or the walbro better, or are they the same?

The Walbro pump looks just like the OEM fuel pump. The harness harness plugs right in too. I have no idea what you did to make the 300TT pump fit. Did you get the Walbro pump that's for the 2nd gen DSM turbo cars?

the ZX pump required modifications.. teh walbro was a direct replacement..

the TT pump can handle more horsepower than the walbro pump.. so i wouldn't even bother switching.. just get another TT pump

UMMMMM, no? part #gss342
Is there a major difference in 2nd gen DSM and the one I have as far as flowing capacity?

And Sprint, are you sure the nippon flows more fuel than the walbro? If so could you link me up to that info please.

1max2nv....is there a difference in the fuel pump for the 2nd gen DSM turbo's(don't know part #) and the gss342 turbo upgrade for our car?
Or are these pumps "one in the same"?

I believe it has to do with the fact that the supra's pump is 'crap' when it comes to sustaining high flow and high pressure. Don't qoute me but a think the 300/tt pump is cheaper than the supra/tt pump. BTW do you or does anyone have any idea how much a 300/tt pump cost(ballpark)?

I don't know the GSS part number.
I just went with walbro pump from this site.

'95-'98 Talon/Eclipse/Laser (turbo)
