How long have you had them on? My Maxspeeds have settled quite a bit over the last two months. The other day when I walked out of work, my car was sitting all by itself in the parking lot, and I noticed that it finally looked like a "lowered" car.
Of course... if you want the slammed look, then by all means, hack away.

i had mine for about 3 weeks or so now. Does it take 2 months for springs to settle in? I have 3 and a half finger gap now. And would it make the ride MUCH harsher? Or just a little bit...

My opinion, and the opinion of MOST of the people on the .org is that you are going to ruin your ride quality if you cut a coil. Some people have done it, and some people say it's fine to do so, but I wouldn't do it.

Well, when I first installed mine, that's about what the gap was too. It has settled down to what looks like about a 2 to 2 1/2 finger gap all the way around.
