Design Your Own Body Kit Contest!!

If you have ever come up with a design for a Maxima body kit but got no one to listen, here is your opportunity. CustomMaxima.com has started a contest to create an ideal body kit for 4th,and 5th generation Maximas. Draw a sketch using photoshop or any other program and email it to Greg@CustomMaxima.com. I will post all submitted photos on this thread to be voted on. We will take votes for about a week, the winning design will be manufactured and sold on CustomMaxima.com. The one who came up with the design will receive that finished kit for free. Secondly the complete kit will be featured in a full page color ad in either SuperStreet or Import Tuner magazine as CustomMaxima.com’s newest body kit.

Our whole reason for this contest is to get actual Maxima owners ideas and input on what type of body kits they want. Usually big companies just come up with whatever body kit designs they feel looks good. CustomMaxima.com wants to change that and has a contract with two large fiberglass factories to create a complete body kit for 4th and 5th generation Maximas. We guarantee each kit to be complete by mid spring.

Simply email your photos to Greg@CustomMaxima.com and respond to this thread which one you like the best.

You know I was thinking, it might look good if we could get those jaguar type-s tail lights for maximas… I think they look sweeter the stock red clears and more inconspicuous then altezzas.. just a though

i'm wondering if this guarranty holds strong like unveiling the "custom maxima project car" or the one-piece headlights.. not trying to be a d*ck, just stating facts.

I'll throw my hat in the ring..

Well, this is a quick 1st draft for 3am..

Of course, the colors don't match, and the gimping is sloppy.. But it's still cool damnit The lower grill could be moved further down so that there is a real bumper, etc. I may do a second if I get bored...

too bad everyone designs huge kits. We need another low-profile option like Stealin.

I agree...
Something that isn't so agressive, but still fits the syle of the car...

Hey Greg, I didn't design this kit...it's already been designed. People are asking for a "low pro" kit and I think this is the answer...

Can't we just get something nice and a little understated ? If you want to look like a skyline buy a 240sx and get a kit for it. . . The maxima is not a skyline, it doesn't even look similar, and it never will. I love the skyline too, but let's leave it be. . .

Or if you like shark gills and scraping get the stealin touring. Just MO, but something simple like the AE kit w/ some minor changes/additions would be great

I too think the low profile kits are nice, but there is just so much you can do with em. I am not personally a fan of the skyline kit, way to ricey, big. I just thought this one was amusing. Actually MadMax95, it's the "Maxquish" kit - Just comes from my love of aston's..
And just another option.

i agree with the "understated" look

my favorite of all current kits is still the stealin.

i think lots of people even on this forum are obsessed with the IN YOUR FACE look. but to elaborate would be debating on personal opinion which we all know is pointless. i never wanted to say anything but the so called skyline kit doesnt much resemble a skyline's features to me. its special in its own right though.

but to be on topic with the new body kit thing, mr.custommaxima, if you could make a replica of the motorex r33 conversion for the 4th gen, that would be AWESOME.
pics of the conversion online are scarce but its possible to find.

How about a new kit for a 3 gen? I would like a skyline kit for a third gen with bumper replacements! I hate the other kits they are just Fugly.

Maximazero vs. gtrrider

Someone photoshop a 5th gen....we have feelings too. I am guessing we will leave the 5th gens up to maximazero and the 4th gens up to gtrrider.

Greg, have you thought of making 2 body kits? one for each of these gens?
