work away at the glue using something like fishing line or dental floss. clean up the excess glue with bug+tar remover.

Dental floss works great. Hance the term "Flossed Burger".

If you have the decal type, a hair dryer (to warm it up) then your fingernail will do just fine.

I've been fortunate enough to avoid the metallic dealer badges for the last 20 years.
