How to obtain RT Cat warranty?

Well, as Aaron95SE told me when I posted that I had my RT Cat installed, I'm hearing a noise from somewhere in the exhaust. I've only had the thing on for a few months now, but I get a noise over bumps. I'm guessing that it's the wall in the RT Cat that came loose and is bouncing around inside the cat.. Guess I have to go back to stock cat.

First of all, how can I be sure that it's the Cat that's making the noise? Second, if it is the cat, how can I obtain the warranty? Yes, I filled out the warranty card.

BTW, looks like I'm gonna be RT Cat hater number 3. (1 is Aaron95SE, 2 is redmaxpa007, and I dunno if there are any more).

Thanks,
-Nick

I had the same problem with my RT cat, I hope you sent your warranty card in or have a receipt, otherwise you're probably out of luck. When I called them they said you have to have sent in the card, he wasn't too friendly either, give them a call and see what they say. I actually bought another one and sent the card in right away and I plan on sending the broken one back under the new Cat's warranty. Hopefully it'll work, let us know how it turns out

I just jacked the car up and hit the bottom of the cat with my hand.......finally, still not convinced I took it off and low and behold the foward wall had separated.

If you sent in the card just call them and get a RMA # or whatever and get the individuals name and extension for later reference.

BTW.....I noticed no power loss when I put the stock cat back on.
Sounds better too

Aaron

Wont the stock cat hurt your flow? What about switching to another brand.

What happens when I get the warranty -- do I get my money back? do I have to send it out to be repaired? or do they replace it or something?

You have to send it back and they'll replace it, call first and tell them the problem, he's going to ask you if you sent your warranty card in, so i hope you did. good luck, let us know what happens
