battery relocation

What kind of shops do battery relocations to the trunk??just wanting to know..

Couldnt say that i have ever asked a shop to do that. Probably a performance shop but i would save the time and money and do it myself.

labor probably 1 hour - $65 / $75 depending on the shop
0 gauge cable.. $100
other misc stuff.. $30

if you get a 0 gauge amp kit its $90 .. comes with everything you need..

its really easy to do though.. the hard part is finding the hole in the firewall.. everything else is easy.. and finding the hole is simple

I wanna do this but im kinda screwed if my battery dies since my trunk is shaved and Ill have no way to get to the battery since I cant pop the trunk cause the battery is dead. unless I made some type of connections up front to hook the cables up

That's simple, just put a + terminal post under the hood like the Mercedes and bimmers have.

Exactly. Summit sells them for 20 bucks. Their remote battery mounting kit is only 40 bucks too...

can someone give me the info on what i need for a battery relocation to the trunk whoever did this??..I really need the info..thanks..

do you already have your car wired for a stereo system? meanign wires from the engine to the trunk?

if not.. you need a battery relocation kit.. amp wiring kit.. crimps and stuff

Im just relocating my battery to the trunk..thats it..where can i get the kit for it??i setting up for a turbo soon and i want to get rid of the battery first..

Did you read my post? Summitracing.com has the kit for 40 bucks. Everything you need to mount in the trunk.

call up napa... autozone... pepboys.. those places might have one.. or call your local audio shops..

check your local performance shop. otherwise call summit racing, they will ship it.
