My groud deal for the SCE gaskets is still going. I just need enough people to call SCE to place the order.

Once I have a definite five people I will call the order into SCE and send them a OEM gasket so they can begin to make the gaskets. Once the gaskets are finished I will tell all who showed interest where to send the money once money is recived then gaskets will be sent out. Yes, I have spoken with a gentleman at SCE and he has agreed that with 5 people (10 gaskets) SCE will produce these gaskets.

I'm not sure if it will work on the 5th gen, so I would have to say no for now.

You'r correct that it won't fit the 5th gen but I can get them made for the 5th gen if we can get 5 orders. I'm not sure on price if there's interest I will call SCE tommorow.

Not too many 5th gens are interested in building their motors right now, so I don't think you'll get 5 sets (counting me).

Weird thing is that 4th and fith gens cyl heads have the same part # but the gaskets are different. Maybe Nissan redesigned the gaskets. They did add a coolant passage on the fith gen block. Could be there was some kind of cooling issue,
BTW, I'm in too for the 3.5 gaskets.

I havent seen the 5tg gen 3.0 gasket but I have compared the 4tg gen 3.0L to the 3.5L and besides the larger bore and different material their are only changes on the coolant passages, nothing major, just less restrictive.

I am in,

questions, will a thicker gasket be an "easy" way to lower the compression or will the stock size hold up with higher psi?

What are the drawbacks... How hard is this to install...

Well it seems that we now have enough people to call SCE. I will call monday morning and let everyone know whats needed money wise to get the gaskets made.

List of definites:
SX7R
Turbo95Max
SprintMax
Maxin
MadMax95
Maxin
Slimer

What most likely will happen is I will send a gasket in to SCE then they will give me a number for you to call and order the copper ones. Once they have the orders and money they will manufacture them and send them out.I personally will not be handeling any money this will be done by SCE.
