I Love Winter!!!!

Got up this morning to a brisk 12 degrees outside. My car loved it. I swear, my car felt like it had so much more power. And the throttle response was crisp and it pulled sooo hard going into work. I love winter!!!!

Sure the car pulls harder in cold weather than 90+ temps, but give me some 50-60 degree temps any day

I don't like it when it's so cold that my hands hurt.

I've found my car to be the quickest in 40-50 degree weather vs extreme cold like 10-20 degrees. My motor feels harsh when the weather is very cold and dry. 45 and slightly humid and my car is very happy.

Yeah the winters may be awsome for the car but I'd rather be in Summertime already.. It sucks working on the car in 9 degree weather..

I love the cold air only for that reason. It's been cold as a b***h up here (getting to -20 degrees).

Yea, the car may perform better in the cold I guess, but since we seem to get complementary little tiny snows every 3 days along with the -10 temps, I don't get to enjoy it.

Really at this point, with no snow, I still take it easy on the roads. Only takes one patch of ice/snow/gravel to turn a spirited run into a disaster.

I have a 5-spd in MN and I cant agree more. I will be looking forward to getting back the performance in more moderate temps.

yes you do. it takes a lot of gas to get your car nice and warmed up in the winter, i calculated like 17-19 miles to the gallon, and that about 4 less than what i get in the summer

Are you Montreal?

In TO, its around -30 with windchill. Its too damn cold for me, especially since I have to walk outside (no car for me during school!)!

And yeah, I do notice the gear shifter being a ***** in the cold, even after I put in Amsoil syn tranny oil. It hates 2nd and 3rd gear, always grinds unless I give it some throttle while shifting it into place.

It was 80 today and not a cloud in the sky. Jesus, I can't wait for winter to be over. I'm so tired of perfect wash and wax weather
