i got tints
i have a dark interior so 35% looks darker
however u have tan so it would b better to a bit darker
mirror reflection is totally not seein inside the car at night
i personally dont like mirror on a max ... but it is ur max.
i say 30-35 would be a safe bet.

35% is good
won't look as dark with a lighter interior (tan) but still pretty dark. one warning, any tints can get you a ticket as i am sure you already knew, especially in NYC. just depends on the cops mood. Check NYC Tint Shop on Queens Boulevard its on the same side as Big boys toys. they are quick and they can do the mirror tinting. my friend had his car done there and it looks hot, plus they were pretty quick. I also posted about this before and someone else on this board said they had a window re-tinted there, and they got him out in less than an hour. i think 35% is a little dark especially at night, but the lighter tints really don't block anybody from looking into your ride. good luck.

35% tint (total after tinting), isn't that dark, not compared to 20% at least. But 35% is nice for night driving because out of the rear view mirror, the tint cuts down on the glare, while maintaining clarity. But it's not dark enough to prevent people from looking inside my car. Oh yeah, the biggest mistake is tinting in the summer time....Do it in the winter time, so you're not sweating your ***** off waiting for the tint adhering solution to dry out. I know I suffered from that.

I have 35% Mirror tint and am happy with it. Nice for driving at night since it's not too dark, but at certain angles, you can see in the car during the day. You can't see details in the car, but you can tell if someone is sitting in it. I also have a tan leather interior, so I recommend it.

Im In Florida and have 20% Quantum tint. Its not really all that dark, at least by the standards down here. It also has a slight mirror to it, but not excessively so. Ill see if I can dig up a pic and post it for reference so you can see what this type of tint looks like.
As far as price, I paid $120 to have it tinted. This is about as expensive as single layer tint gets. The cheaper stuff (down here anyway) goes for about $75 on a car like the Max. My advice is to make sure you get metallic tint, not the stuf that is dyed film. The dyed stuff will fade and turn purple over time. Down here, within a year the dyed stuff has already started to fade.
I also tinted the sunroof glass as well. It helps in the summer when the sun is quite high in the sky and you dont want to totally close the shade.
