Does the ACT clutch kit #NM1-HDMM include both a release bearing and (in most cases) a pilot bearing?
What's a pilot bearing?

Re: For those with the ACT clutch or any aftermarket clutch for that matter:
Generally yes, but not always. the release bearing or Throw-out bearing is used to depress the diamphram springs on the clutch cover that move the clutch plate away from the flywheel. The Pilot bushing stabalizes the input shaft of the transmission, and goes in the end of the crankshaft.

I bought from Pablo. Great transaction . . . great price (cheaper than all other sources that the org had heard of), shipment included pressure plate, friction material plate, both bearings, fast shipping, cheap shipping, no import fees. Shipping was next to nothing, got here in like 3-4 days.
BTW, ygm, re: nitrous.

The pilot bearing that came with my ACT clutch was too small to accept the transmission primary shaft so I didn't use it. Anybody else have that experience?

Interesting ... what'd you end up using then? Your OEM bearing or an OEM replacement?

Didn't use nuthin'. My mechanic friend said it really wasn't necessary on cars with short primary shaft extensions like Maximas have.
