Hey,
I got a levoc shift **** a while ago and installed, it, etc. Worked great. Yesterday i got back from watching a movie and it fell off. The screws must have lossened. So i took it off and went home using no ****. Just a few minutes ago i went out to put it back on. I put it on and it went all the way down to the boot. I light clicked in my head, and i just screwed it in all the way at the bottom, and it first perfectly!! This takes like 2-1.5 in off the throw, just like the 175 or whatever stillen. I can belave it worked. So all of you who want a shorter stick just buy a new shift **** (Contact Alex from SouthWestAUtoWorks for a good price). I have the adaptor on the threaded part still, i dont really know if you need that. Then just put the **** all the way to the bottom and screw it on! Just that easy! (Or am i just so stupid that i didnt do this before and everyone else already has?hehe)

It's even more fun when you take a reciprocating saw to the shift lever, and seriously hacking it. It's shorter throw, with good effort. Pretty soon, a real custom short shift...hacking it, adding some length below the pivot ball, and milling out a spacer of the shifter assembly.

I'm sure it still feels like you're rowing through the gears though. NOT the same as a short throw.
