I wonder if that's from Greg up in Phoenix. He's done quite a few.
Unfortunately, I didn't find about him (nephew of a co-worker) until
I had ordered Nigel's kit. Not sure if it's the same but I'll pop
him an e-mail if I remember to.

Leaded gas tends to be alot higher in octane points than unleaded gas. For example at the 1/4 mile track I go to you can get up to 105 octane unleaded gas and like 130 octane leaded gas. Seeing as this thing is running 15 psi and with no sign of an intercooler or ECU controller it needs that high octane leaded gas.

Leaded gas has a higher Octane level. Where it could be 94 Octane Max for Unleaded gas, Leaded gas could be around 110 Octane, very good for racing and such.

It probably weighs no more than 1500lbs and has 500hp, so probably 10/11's but that is speculation, since I dont know the exact weight.

Yep, its for real.

It was made by a father-son team over a two year period.

Guess where dad works?

umm... does anybody recognize Garrett Engine Boosting?

hehe

The son specializes in aftermarket clutches and has his
own business.

The vehicle was on display with a host of other boosted
vehicles in a special press-show at Garrett this last
weekend.

I would put that engine in a 32 Ford roadster body (one of the kits you can buy and build to your liking) and have fun!
