My Poor Max!

Its now has a garbage bag for a window on the rear passenger door. Its a '99 so the retards could not get away with it, they left it with the headlights on and the wipers running and various ignition parts scattered about. Anyway I tried starting the car with a screwdriver and the key under the neck, and still, the damn thing wont turnover. I even went as far as jumping and replaced the battery...no good. Do I have to reset something? Is there something I'm not considering? Please Help!!!
Note: Please excuse my extensive use of Smiles!

Let me get this straight: someone tried to steal your car and messed a ton of stuff up and now it won't run? If that is so, what ignition stuff is lying around? Depending on what they did/ cut it may not be an easy fix. Have you contacted your insurance company? Regardless, I feel bad for ya man.

Thanks for the sympathy guys, I paid a trip to my local dealer and got all the answers I needed, the guy at the counter told me that the reason it wont start is that the cylinder is part of the security mechanism and that if it is not detected, that or the chip in the key, it wont start. But basically, I got the ignition setup, (It comes with two keys), for $135 and my local locksmith was able to install it with my original key and programmed it all so that its back to normal and he did it all for $85 bucks. I gotta give props
The dealer was Route 22 nissan in Hillside, NJ. E-mail me for the guy's name (gave me additional 10% off) and the locksmith was Keycity in Newark, NJ. As for the broken window I'm getting that done tommorrow Safelite is asking $220 for the rear passenger window
a lot of moolah but they come to your job and do it while you work and garauntee it for the life of the car, but I'm gonna go with K&S auto glass in Newark for $139 installed. I'm happy I took my time and shopped around 'cause my deductable is $500 bucks and I did it all for about $360.
