maybe a more specific link would help
anyways, none of the coilover systems that im aware of from JIC uses the helper spring. im not complaining about noise. i have the FLTA2. i guess if you have no noise you prolly wouldnt need em

You should not require helper springs with the FLT-A2. The SF models it would be wise, but an additional cost.

It will work and you're talking about a tender spring, not a helper spring, according to Ground Control's wording. A helper spring will hardly have a spring rate and is only there to retain the spring seat location. The tender spring is one which you can choose a lower spring rate to somewhat simulate that of a progressive spring. however, this will not allow you to lower the vehicle as much as you'd like. The thing to determine this is the spacing between the lower spring perch and the perch above the shock bracket.
so set your ideal ride height and take those measurements. once you have those measurements you'll need to determine the width of the mid perch and subtract that from the initial spacing figure you acquired between those perches. At that point you'll be able to interpolate the length of the tender spring you desire.
Peace, rishie
