what is the estimate on those? don't understand why it's costly, shouldn't waste too much paint

i've talked to people who said it was anywhere from $30,$50, to $100. i was quoted one hundred back when i tried because of the hour or two of labor plus the paint and flex. i'm still planning on doing it, just looking around for hook-ups or a good deal. looks sooooo much better though when they're painted.

depends on the color of the car. i have a white 2000 SE and have black flaps. makes it look a little more sporty than the white.

Definately paint them to match the body. They blend right into the car.

I have a white 97 SE. I like my black flaps too. Changes the lines of the car and looks lower to ground. I have not seen a white MAX with white flaps going down the road yet though.

If it's that expensive to get them painted, you might as well buy a set of painted ones. They're something like $85 shipped on www.nissan-accessories.com. Then just sell your current non-painted mudflaps.

Can't find painted splash guards for 4th gen cars anymore. If anyone knows where, please post.

Body color splash guards look great on your silver car. Black ones would suck. But black on white cars isn't too bad.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the "muf flaps" part of the original post from the title. Muf flaps..that cracks me up for some reason.

i don't think so...i think the side skirts or something interfere. seems that everyone who gets one has them off so i would say no, you can't.

Paint or not: Depends on car color.

If I paint mine white, the paint will chip off and look like crap in a month where I live. They gravel the roads in the winter for ice. Which is why I installed them in the first place.
