I pulled out from a yield sign and had to move my 2.7L bad-boy since the traffic was heavy. This cop stops me and writes me a ticket saying I operated a motor vehicle too fast for road conditions in heavy traffic and rain. When I asked him if it was about the yield sign, he said he should write me one for that, for speeding, for changing lanes without signaling in addition (hmm...seems like I was in the right lane the whole time).
hehe It's kinda funny when I think about it because it's nothing personal. But it's outlandish. If I had sped wouldn't he have written a ticket for such? So I lost 2 1/2 hours pay as here we go again $25 fine becomes $94 in the Commonwealth. But 2 1/2 hours is a short time when this piggly wiggly has to spend the rest of his days overweight gettin his stones off chasing after motorists! Drive that Crown Vic yeeeeeeha!

Sucks huh?
I got pulled over because it "looked like I might have been going to fast" and then he said he will give me a warning and wrote me a ticket for my expired inspection sticker (that I had no idea was expired because I swear I just got that thing re-newed a few months ago..)

well
I'm thinking since my license is still out-of-state that if I pay the $94 I'm over and done with it and there are no insurance consequences (got a ticky 1 year ago and my insurance is still $900). Since this seems to be my 2nd ticket in 1 1/2 years I'm lucky I'm still out of state. But there is something to what you say about fighting it, this violation is the only 2 point one where everything else is 3. I think it's vague where the donut guy is being subjective.
I'd do it if it were a matter of insurance, but for me to take off work it's like going to Atlantic City. If I lose I've doubled the fine, if I win I'm still out at least $70-$100 dollars for time off. If I pay I'm out $94.
