He needs to bring some of that action over this way, we will nicely greet him except my videos are more then a second long. I should send him that video of CBR smoking that turbo integra.

I think this is up here in Maryland(they talk about Rockville on the page) and that Civic SI he raced with the Wings West body graphics looks exactly like the one that was running high 13's up at Capital Raceway last summer! if he's up here in MD, maybe we should introduce him and his Prelude to Mardigras and his 'stock' Maxima!!!

There's a 10.003 second Civic up here in the NW....

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

Wait, so this guys' Turbo Prelude ran 14.08, yet in one of their videos they destroy a 996 Carrera, which can run ~13.1. I don't think the Porsche was even trying. Either that, or the Prelude traps very, very, very, very high for its ET.

The Porsche obviously wasn't racing. The old model Camaro wasn't racing them either.

you can catch a glimpse of the maxima at the end of this clip of the 1.8T race.

here

It looks like the maxima got a bad start but then begins to make up some ground. I think that's why they cut the video footage short cause any longer than one second and you would have seen a "stillen maxima" beat a turboed ricer.

14 flat at 103 is not that fast for a Turbo 'Lude. He should be quite a bit faster. A friend of mine has a 99 Civic EX with the intercooled Greddy kit that runs 14.0 @ 101 with 9psi. The rest of the car (clutch, tires, suspension) is totally stock, down to the hubcaps.

OMG, watch the 7-series video!

http://www.allimports.net/videos/Cap0008.mpg

One of the people in the lude yelled "cya" and they weren't even pulling yet and they barely beat it. And the BMW looked like it had 4 passengers to boot

He couldn't possibly have been turboed yet in that 7-series video. Didn't sound like it. Same thing in the Golf 1.8T video.

Actually, he *DID* have the turbo in the 7-series video!

You could just barely hear the BOV on the 1-2 upshift. Dayum, a freakin turbo lude barely able to take out a 7-series is just sad

7 i think

He's a good guy but he half a$$ed it. If done properly he could get the right times. He just wants a fast car......with a BOV. Not patient enough to do it right. No oil pressure gauges.......just a boost and a/f.....and s-afc thats not tuned. Doesnt really monitor it..........just expects good times

I bet if he tuned it right.....and had taken his time he (with good driving) could break 13's

hmmm...he needs to improve the setup then...Dropshop's turbo'd stock block DOHC ZC CRX runs 13.5 on street tires @ 10psi.
