Those are very rare. Nissan figured who ever wanted a cheap car they would go with the 4 banger 2k2 alty.

They're not that rare in Toronto.

something is wrong with that max. the wheels, headlights and tail lights do not match up. all 2k2s i thought came with new alloys. those rims look like 2k-2k1. the tail lights are def. 2k-2k1. sounds fishy to me. you get what you pay for.

someone was digging through the 5th gen parts bin!

2000 headlamps
SE guages
2000 gxe rims
2k-2k1 SE tails
foglamps

....i thought only SEs get black steering wheels
....the shift **** looks like it's leather wrapped....
.......and if i'm not mistaken the exterior door handles look body colored...

it looks more to me like it's a stripped down 2k2 SE than a GXE

it would be easier to swap the SE trunklid with a GXE/GLE trunklid than to add foglamps, swap for body colored door handles, install SE guages, and add a leather shifter.

That is an SE. If you look at the picture of the back of the car, you will notice that there is no third brake light in the back window. The GXE and GLE without spoilers had a third brake light on the rear deck.

Not to mention, the all black steering wheel(SE only) and the SE guage cluster.

The car was probably stolen, stripped of HID's and wheels, and damaged in the rear.

However, carfax is reporting this car to have a clear title. Yea, right! It was originally registered to a leasing company in Pennsylvania. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Good thinking bro. I personally thought it was an original GXE because I have never ever seen a 2k2 GXE. people don buy those in NY.

Real 2k2 GXEs have the same xenons, 2k2 tails and use the 5-spoke 2000-2001 SE wheels.

i guess a lot of the SE parts were stripped (wing, wheels, tails, etc), so rather than trying to selll a stripped SE, they would rather advertise it as a loaded GXE.

I think you're right! What gives were the SE's gauges and body color, not chrome door handles. The previous owner must have gotten his/her xenon headlight stolen (very likely since the car was from NY) and replace w/the older unit or was just customizing the car for his/her preference?. The rear wing was probably sold and forgotten to installed the rear brake light unit from the GXE on. As for the wheel, it is definately the standard older GXE 16" wheels, not the 2002 GXE.

I really have no idea why they even made the model, I've only seen one. The only way I knew what it was was the window sticker, from far away I thought someone traded in a modded car.
