Turbo project is finally complete!

Intercooler shot

Engine shot

Blitz SBC-ID boost controller (top) and Blitz DTT DC II turbo timer (bottom)

The car sounds VERY different now... it doesn't even sound like any modified Maxima at all. I can't describe it so I'll make a video.

Supercongrats Mr. Kev! That is one major accomplishment man, and more, it looks slick. Somehow I doubt if I was in your position, I could have been patient enough to make everything pretty and polished. I hope you really enjoy it... and I want a ride sometime soon

car looks very nice , try running it with no exhaust and turbo - you would never know it's a maxima...

if anyone can find out how to make ^ noise, but quieter, I owe you my life..

can't wait to see your vids! CONGRATS on the install! enjoy the turrbo, don't go boost crazy as we all know is VERY easy to do with turbo

actually i visit the forum quite often, as you can tell from my user status, to make sure that the Class action law suite i'm working with for the 2002-2003 gen maxima's are kept well informed.....just had some basic questions concerning the turbo just incase i want to do one.....but thanks for your concern........

All the turbo setups ive see for the 4th gen maximas are frekin weird with Gigantic 3"piping going from here to no where, whatt the hell is that, it looks so gay, im gonna so my setup like yours when i get my turbo dude

Thanks for the compliment, guys.

Yeah, the car is dusty but what do you expect since it's been sitting in the garage for 3-4 months with the windows down. Hehehe

Joaquin: Let me know if you still have any questions after reading my email. I'm sure there will be questions.

Harold: I think the noise may be due to the way you and Nigel have the turbo WAY up in the engine bay. Matthel's car isn't quite as loud but his turbo does sit lower. Thanks for the advice... I know it will be VERY hard to hold back turning up the boost....... should have installed the boost controller where it isn't that easy to access.

Jason: The engine bay will take some time to bling bling out. It won't be everything... only the major parts.

VQMAN: Yes, I did all the work myself... even down to making the stainless steel braided fuel/oil cooler lines.

2kSeattleMax: Contact PFI/turbo97se or hlh0501 for the kit.
