I have an Autopage.

Had it installed at a shop in Chicago; I paid $400 installed if I remember correctly.

Specs: http://autopageusa.com/autopageusars750.htm

It works beautifully. My only complaint is that the LCD screen is starting to get messed up. The last number for the clock is sometimes messed up. I suppose I dropped it too many times?

One of these days I'm going to drop by the shop and try to get a new pager under warranty. They gave me 1-year.

Viper 790XV =

Check out Don (Pearl96Max) if you live in the NE. $499 installed! I'm going to be upgrading my 550ESP to the 790XV when I get some funds.

I also got the Viper 790XV from Don. A great system and a really clean installation by Don. If you're in the N.E. definitely shoot him an e-mail.

i installed a beta model in my car.. i'm not sure whether it is the equivalent of the viper or clifford.. but it works alright. my only complaint about it is if i had my keys in my pockets or bag the buttons always gets pressed. and also the range on it isn't as good as i wish it would be when there are obstructions. alot of times i'de start the car but then it'de say i'm outa range but then when i actually get to the car in person, it had already started.

i have the Viper REsponder 790

it is a two way pager, has remote start, sensors, the whole 9. it works great, i have had it for over 3 months.

Installed, purchased, and loved by Don aka Pearl96max.

He has a group deal for this new alarm, it has temperature and clock time on it, u can actually set a time for your car to start!!

Only commplaint I got with mine is that the Temp is never accurate and flat out dont work. If you check it 1st time, it will be say for example 50, when it might be 70 out. Then check it again 5sec later, be 70, then check agin 5sec later, 104, check again 5sec later, 150. Im think "shiet.... did the car JUST catch on fire?"

I can reproduce this EVERYTIME, so i dont even bother with it anymore.

i just bought and installed the clifford matrix rs-3 alarm, two-way lcd remote, remote start, opt. field disturbance sensor, back-up battery, and louder siren...the only bad thing about it is that i had to go back to the installer and have him adjust the field disturbance sensor because if u moved within 10 feet of my car it would go off, but now that that is fixed the alarm is great

Insult the auto then ask stupid question...always a great thing to see. Anywho, ][ 35 , you would not want anything attached to factory alarm because that thing never goes off anyways.

five speeds also have electric starters so it works the same way. a neutral saftey switch gets put on. i personally wouldn't put remote start on a manual everyone i know that has autostart on a manual has screwed up once. (started the car in gear) unless your car is turbo and u have the habit of leaving the car in neutral for the turbo timer to run.

i just installed two more of these systems this past weekend in some customers cars. One was an F350 Deisel super duty and the other a 99 Galante. Very simple install on both. Not to mention the range is rediculous on these things

my system should be instlled very soon, along with window mods

well it's not on a factory alarm... it's aftermarket with auto start and other options....so i just didn't want to strip the alarm out and get new alarm with a pager system..... plus i want to add the option to roll up and down the windows and close and open the sunroof but most 2 way pager alarm don't have extra channels to add those options......

anyone know of any 2 way pager alarm with addtional channel so those extra options can be added on?

I agree with ][35...

Before I knew anything about this board I got the factory alarm installed. I paid about $350 or so, but what the hell did I know? I find out later that there is no shock sensors whatsoever. I'm looking for the same but don't want to spend $400 on a another alarm system. Perhaps I can sell the old one on Ebay? LOL. Anyways, If anyone has any suggestions, I would be happy to listen.

Peace

Andy

Email Pearl96Max. You can get a very good alarm from him for under $400. Don has a group deal for a Viper 550 alarm for $300 which is the same as the Viper 790 but it doesnt include the pager. If thats too much you can get a lower model for even less.

As far as I know, the DEI 2-ways (Viper 790/Clifford Matrix RS3) have an extra channel. You can also get a module that gives you 8 extra output channels or something like that.

I have the Clifford Matrix RS3 and it has ridiculous range.
