02, 6 speed

I have an 02 SE 6 speed that seems notchy when going from 2nd to 3rd. Kinda rough going in sometimes, not smooth like the rest of the gears. Going back to Nissan soon but was wondering if any others with 6 speeds have similar issues.

My max has done that for the last 60,000 miles. Hasn't gotten worse though. I have to shift slowly into 3rd or be at high revs or it clunks into gear. Doesn't bother me anymore.

a lot 6 speed owners complain specifically about the 2-3 shift. myself included. mine was terrible when i first got the car but a year later its not that bad at all anymore.

For some reason, my 3-4 shift seems to be extremely notchy. It never used to be, but it is now. All the others are much better. Oddly enough, my 2-3 shift is very smooth. It almost seems like these 6spds have a mind of their own in terms of where they want to be notchy.

my 2-3 shift is notchy too, it gets real annoying... how many times do you try to hit 3rd but have a delay because it didnt go in? not to mention if youre racing you look like you dont know how to shift when it doesnt go into 3rd, or it bounces out.. i cant stand that
