INJEN heat shield

Anybody with a Injen CAI on their car , did you ever think of installing the heat shield too?click here to see

I'm gonna wait until summer and see what kind of effect the heat has on my Injen. Mine sits low enough, and far enough toward the side of the car, that I don't think it's very effected by the radiator, but a few 98+ degree days will help me figure that out. I might consider it when I change out my filter too.

you can get a generic heat shield for like $20


injen heat shields will not be seen.. they are in the bottom of the engine bay..



get a generic.

Like many said, Not worth 50 bucks.
Unless its going to give me 5 extra HP!

I'll probably get better result with Zmax for $40 bucks and still get 10 bucks left.

click the picture...it fits 2.5 to 4 in inlets.

Hmm..Looking at the heat shield..

Couldn't you just make one from some aluminum sheet metal, a dremel, a drill, and a few nuts and bolts for $5-10??

any thing i try to make i'll mess it up so i might as well pay little extra and get the part that will fit will it will be worth the trouble and hassel.... not bad at all for $19 with free shipping
