I'm in the process of ordering a pump for my 3rd gen model #GSS 341. From what they are telling me I need to get this kit because the pump is aftermarket and not a OEM replacement. I think the kit contains a in-tank filter, hose and clamps and electrical connections. Sounds like he's trying to sell me something I may not need, but for $25 it may be cheap insurance. Did you guys buy a kit also?

I have a 4th Gen, I did not need the kit. The factory siphon bag and wire harness fit right on. I just needed the pump and it fit great.
3rd gens might be different?
You will need to get a new o-ring seal for your gas tank from Nissan.

I ordered a GSS342 its a 255lph High Presure pump.
I ordered from here. http://www.forcedperformance.net/
Look here for info http://members.home.com/syclone/APE/
Walbro makes 3 versions of the pump. A 190lph wich is a good stock replacment, a 255lph wich would be good for a high volume stock pressure set up like a wet nitrous set up , and 255lph HP wich will flow 38gph@100psi, this is usefull for modified dry nitrous set up's like mine. I run ~85psi of fuel pressure and I plan on using a .047 nitrous jet, thats about 100hp at the crank. The 2 smaller pumps can not support the flow needed at high presure to be used in this situation. However, both the standard pressure pumps will support a dry kit that runs 70psi and under. Runing at 70psi you should be able to use a .042-.044 nitrous jet. If you start playing with the jets in the NOS dry kit I recomend you get cockpit mounted fuel pressure gauge.

For the 4th gen Maxima, if you give them my code "GSS342" they should be able to cross reference it to the other two, regular pressure pumps, that are the same layout.
