When I turn the steering wheel, a heavy clunking noise sounds from my front of my cars, around the tire areas, dominating on the drivers left side. It mainly comes from the side that i'm turning towards, not when i make big wide turns though- please -any advice would be appreciated-thank you

 

could be your cv joints but thats more of a click than a "clunk"
