And will I be able to adjust the spring tention (Make a little stiffer) while lowering the car. I only want it about an inch and a half or so lower, will I need camber adjustments or will an allighnment do the job..

what kind of coilovers are you considering? if you lower an inch from stock height, you won't need camber plates, although an alignment is suggested (i haven't done mine and it's been almost 9? months)

the coilover springs are quite different than lowering springs.

You may be able to, it will depend on the company. I know the Ground Control Coilovers use the Eibach springs so there's a thought.

most coilovers use universal springs. Mostly 2.5" ID or 2.25" ID. Ground Control uses Eibach ERS 2.5" ID. You can choose spring rate and length of spring also. The only way to make it stiffer is by swapping out the spring and putting a stiffer one in.

If your only planning to lower it 1 inch then i dont think you need coilovers. Camber should be no prob. I lowered mines 2.75" and installed Camber bolts and got my alignment perfect.

Well, I already have the Eibock/tokico setup. It is soposed to be lower 1.25 inches or something. I would like to lower maybe 1.5 more, so I quess that would be 2.75, same as you..

you want to lower 1.5" MORE then your current setup. In that case you would have to go with coilovers. I think the default on Ground Controls is 450lb in front and 300lb in back. You can get 375 all around like the Cattman Coilovers. good luck

yes, they both use eibachs, but the springs types are different. take a look at how large the stock or 'pro kit' springs are and look at the pictures on cattman's coilovers. vast difference in size. you can practically hold coilover springs on the palm of your hand, it's that big a difference it size.
