Just wondering if this is something that needs to be done. I have heard of people that didn't cut them on their SE's and they were fine. Then I have heard that some people with GXE's had to go back and cut them because they felt them while going over bumps. So on a SE is it needed???

We recommend always cutting the bumpstop. Depending on how much you drop it, you can cut more or less. All of the cars ive lowered i have always cut off half or more of the bumpstop.

I dont see any difference between an SE or GXE once you have new struts and springs in so i would say cut it regardless SE, GXE, GLE.

Ok, thanks but I have another Question????

To get to the bumptops I have to cut the boot around it right?? Is there anyway to do this and not to cut the boot so I can reuse it? Also if there is not were is a good cheap place to get another dust boot for my car? And just one more, Can I cut the bumpstops once I install my springs/struts, or do I have to do it during the install??? Thanks

You don't have to cut the boot for the fronts because the bump stops are in them. Just pull them out (orange looking thingies) and chop.

For the rears, you'll have to cut the boot because they are attached.

You'll have to chop during the install... can't do them any other time.
