Im getting alarm that comes with remote start, its deffinatly convinent but is it bad in anyway. thanks

 

not that i know of, but it definately waste gas

 

I have remote start but just have to make sure its not in gear....i never park in gear anyways. Works so well for me on snowy mornings....I start the car as soon as I get out the shower and buy the time I'm dressed and all, it's warm and cosy inside and the windshield and side glasses are pretty clear.

 

you must live in a pretty safe place to do that ... there is nothing harmful about a remote started excepting starting the car while it's in gear, like mentioned above

 

Yep its a killer when its in gear, and just to explain what happens if its in gear. Ive seen some1 leave it in gear parked at a BestBuy, right nest to a wall. The remote start will try to start the car 3 times, well that eclipse slammed into a wall 3times while the owner helplessly watch. kinda felt sorry but damn that had to suck.

 

BWAHAHAHAHAHA, that had to have been hilarious to watch that from your point of view though

 

I cant say it wasnt hilarious I was LMAO. U should have seen the look on the other guys face, he just walked out talkin to some hot girl and I guess he 4got all about the car. After he hit the button comes a loud OH **** and he just stood there with his hands on his head looking in agony as his car slammed against the wall.

Some starters wont start when its in gear, you'd have to go through a series of steps before getting out of the car if you want the starter to start. just dont stand in front of the car before starting it.... just in case
