Will 2k muffler flow as good as stillen>>
I think not really, but is the power diff worth losing the noise from the stillen muffler? I have been running my stock muffler couse it is so loud, would a 2k muffler give me at least a couple of ponies over stock and still be quieter than the stillen?
I run a Cattman Y, RT cat custom cat back and a Y2K muffler on my 3-gen. Now it has taken me alot of time and $$ to get this system correct. Here's what I did.
1) I had a shop re-do the flat flanges on the rt cat to ball-joint type. Fixed the crappy exhaust leaks and helped the noise slightly.
2) My flex-joint was leaking but I couldn't track it down until I got the rest of the styem fixed first. It turns out the flex was responsible for 90% of the crappy bees in the can noise. Now cattman's y is not Stillen's Y but I suspect that they BOTH used UNLINED flex sections in their designs. Which sucks big time. I had the shop use a LINED flex section and BLAMO! Dead quiet exhaust. A slight hiss but it could be another slight crush ring leak I think. I mean it's STOCK quiet and my system is far from stock now.

there should be a big difference because the stillen is a straight thru muffeler and if you look at it you can see right thru it as for the 2k mfflker it is still more restrictive no matter what people tell you the stillen one adds more hp but the 2k muffler is much more quiet and better off that wayand probably gives u more low end power.
