Finished Cattman gen 2 Coilover install
Thank you ROB!!(tilleys99) (kevin helped too)
i have never seen a suspersion go on so fast..
the only issue i have is I'm hearing a muted thunking noise when I go over small bumps, kinda like a heavy piece of metal rattling between two other pieces of metal slightly on the passenger side rear only.
i have done a search on "coilover noise" and read all the threads.
so more or less it is typical. I was wondering if anyone found a solution to any of thses noises.
the fronts do not make any noise.
the rears squeak some.
we took a pic with the rears set all the way down and then lowered the car off the lift. let me just say i was tucking rubber on a 15 in tire..
i will upload a pic or 2 tonight. I am getting my alignment done tomorrow at lunch.
I just measured the front and rear heights.
fronts.. 25 1/2 in
rears... 25.........
i need to move them up so they are about 1 3/4in lower than stock height. (before tomorrows alignment)
stock heights are 27 3.4 in

I always wondered if 8" springs in the rear would help the gen2's provided your not slammed. Just enough to tighten the spring in hats like the fronts. you will probably notice when you lift the car up the rear springs just dangle loose. Oh, when you drop the car back down make sure they are seated right or be prepared for a huge thump when it pops back into place over the first bump. It will scare the crap outta ya.

I got the same coilovers and that minor noise is just gonna be there, i don't find it bad anymore, but was thinking of getting rid of them, when all else is done. ONly thing i could ever think of to do was to add take up springs to the rear (like the front) or some sort of new mount that keeps the spring seated.
