Maxima talk at the Tiburon forum....

I was looking at the new Tiburon forum and saw a Maxima vs. Tibby thread 2 or 3 posts from the top: http://www.newtiburon.com/yabbse/ind...;threadid=8745.

hehe... Its funny how much the numbers and info get skewed when people don't know... Not that I blame them because its a Tiburon board after all, why should they know... They seem like a good bunch of people though, if that were a Honda board it would have been along the lines of, my 92 Civic runs 12s stock with 300lbs of stereo equip, and i pulled on a top fuel dragster at the strip, and drove my dads 'vette and I know my civic would beat it, blah, blah, make me wanna puke....

People who know, drive Nissan... Shift_gone

whomever those maxima owners are in that thread really are lame; the stuff they are posting isn't even accurate. Spinning through 1-2 (really bad tires), my 98 auto with HAI ran 15.4's consistently. My first time at the track.

And Tiburons? Hyundai can call Nissan back when Hyundai makes cars that don't break so much.

Amd that track stuff? I have never taken a stock maxima on a track, but if driven by someone who knows how to drive, I doubt it would suck that much. Yes, it's an older style suspension, but the only really poor thing is the roll. I doubt a stock Tiburon is really so great on the track either LOL. "Oh look my trnasmission fell out around that last bend!"
