Only swap I'll ever try on my Maxima is with another 4th gen. Might try a 5th gen, but I don't if it mounts in properly...hood might not close afterwards.
If you're interested in a S15, just buy a 95-98 240SX. The motor is cheap and the swap is relatively easy.

You just drop in the whole setup just like it is and power one wheel. That way you only need one slick when you go to the track.
