Autometer Tranny and Oil Temp- Install Info?
Anyone installed an Autometer electrical Tranny Temp or Oil Temp gauge?
How difficult/complex are the installs for these particular gauges?
Which one is more complex?
As long as the install can be done without great difficulty, I'll get them. Just trying to find out what it requires...
Thanks for any info in advance!

you can either tap the sender to your tranny pan or use a tee and cut your tranny hose. You have to ground the sender if you decided to use a tee. I have some pictures at my site and it is not too difficult.
not sure about the oil temp gauge...never install one.

If mechanical (fluid line coming in to the passenger compartment), I won't do it because I don't like the idea of fluids being in my passenger compartment (probably an unfounded concern, but I just don't like it). Exactly which ones are you guys getting that will match with the overall "theme" of a Maxima? Are there white faced ones that will match my stock SE's gauges?

Autometer Phantom Series gauges are what you want. They are white faced, back-lit and either mechanical or electrical. I dont want mechanical gauges either. Most of their gauges are in the $50-$70 range, some are way more.
A great site to see all the gauges Autometer offers is www.egauges.com
